Cephalotanins A–D,Four Norditerpenoids Represent Three Highly Rigid Carbon Skeletons from Cephalotaxus sinensis

Four polycyclic norditerpenoids, cephalotanins A–D ( 1 – 4 ) representing three unprecedented carbon skeletons with highly rigid ring systems, were isolated from Cephalotaxus sinensis and structurally characterized by a combination of various methods. Compounds 1 and 2 are new skeletal norditerpenoid trilactones, while 3 and 4 are two norditerpenoids featuring different new carbon skeletons. Biosynthetic pathways for 1 – 4 were proposed by involving diverse and very fascinating chemical events with the coexisting cephalotane troponoids as the precursors. Compound 1 exhibited good NF‐κB inhibition with an IC₅₀ value of 4.12±0.61 μΜ.     

Tailorable PC71BM Isomers: Using the Most Prevalent Electron Acceptor to Obtain High‐Performance Polymer Solar Cells

Despite being widely used as electron acceptor in polymer solar cells, commercially available PC₇₁BM (phenyl‐C₇₁‐butyric acid methyl ester) usually has a “random” composition of mixed regioisomers or stereoisomers. Here PC₇₁BM has been isolated into three typical isomers, α‐, β₁‐ and β₂‐PC₇₁BM, to establish the isomer‐dependent photovoltaic performance on changing the ternary composition of α‐, β₁‐ and β₂‐PC₇₁BM. Mixing the isomers in a ratio of α/β₁/β₂=8:1:1 resulted in the best power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 7.67 % for the polymer solar cells with PTB7:PC₇₁BM as photoactive layer (PTB7=poly[[4,8‐bis[(2‐ethylhexyl)oxy]benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene‐2,6‐diyl][3‐fluoro‐2‐[(2‐ethylhexyl)carbonyl]thieno[3,4‐b]thiophenediyl]]). The three typical PC₇₁BM isomers, even though sharing similar LUMO energy levels and light absorption, render starkly different photovoltaic performances with average‐performing PCE of 1.28–7.44 % due to diverse self‐aggregation of individual or mixed PC₇₁BM isomers in the otherwise same polymer solar cells.     

Temperature and pH dual‐sensitive polyaspartamide derivatives for antitumor drug delivery

The pH‐sensitive tertiary amino groups were introduced to synthesize temperature and pH dual‐sensitive degradable polyaspartamide derivatives (phe/DEAE‐g‐PHPA) containing pendant aromatic structures and ionizable tertiary amino groups. The thermo/pH‐responsive behavior of phe/DEAE‐g‐PHPA polymer can be tuned by adjusting the graft copolymer composition. Due to the pH sensitivity of the phe/DEAE‐g‐PHPA‐g‐mPEG polymer with hydrophilic long PEG chain, the micelles and the anticancer drug‐loaded micelles were prepared by a quick pH‐changing method without using toxic organic solvent. The obtained polymeric micelles, paclitaxel‐loaded micelles and doxorubicin‐loaded micelles were stable under physiological conditions. Both the drug‐loaded micelles showed much faster release at pH 5 than at pH 7.4. The doxorubicin‐loaded micelles showed obvious and better anticancer activity against both HepG2 and HeLa cells than free doxorubicin. Thus these nontoxic, dual thermo‐ and pH‐sensitive phe/DEAE‐g‐PHPA‐g‐mPEG micelles may be a promising anticancer drug delivery system. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. Protein Staining Agents from Cationic and Neutral Luminescent Iridium(III) Complexes

Seven luminescent iridium(III) complexes were prepared to investigate the relationships between chemical structures and properties of protein staining. For the first time, the effect of the main ligand, the π conjugation effect of the ancillary ligand, and the charge effect of organometallic complexes on protein staining has been revealed. Most importantly, this study gives the first experimental evidence of the potential applications of charge‐neutral organometallic complexes in protein staining, which could open an avenue of exploiting novel protein staining agents in the future.     

零气耗空气除湿实验研究

针对有热再生式压缩空气除湿装置在再生及冷吹过程中产生气耗的缺点,运用喷射器及恒压变温吸附再生原理设计了一种零气耗空气除湿工艺流程。在搭建小型实验台的基础上,通过改变喷射器引射率进行实验研究三种工况条件下活性氧化铝的吸附再生性能。实验结果表明:实验全过程能够保持一个相对稳定且有效的恒压变温吸附再生条件,且出口空气露点达到生产要求;随着喷射率的降低,吸附剂再生效果逐渐下降,而吸附效果逐渐上升。引射率为0.5时的再生时间约为引射率0.75的1.85倍,再生速率约为0.51倍。而引射率0.33,引射率0.5的吸附效率分别为引射率0.75的1.04倍,1.11倍,吸附稳定时间1.11倍,2.22倍。
